I'm very happy that this guy plays on my team.

Since joining ESPN in 2007, I have taken a lot of heat for being a fan of teams with winning traditions. The argument is that I am a fan of my teams because of the championships that they have won. That argument also includes the caveat that true fans support the teams in the area that they were born in or currently reside in. In this post, I will explain how I am in an open relationship with the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, Georgetown Hoyas, Maryland Terrapins, Miami Hurricanes and New York Yankees. Jerry Can Talk?!

I used to watch Tom & Jerry as a kid and to say that it’s one of my favorite cartoons would be a monumental understatement. While watching an episode of Family Guy this afternoon (the one where Stewie does a dance routine with Gene Kelly) I was curious to see who the original cartoon character was. So, I looked it up and found out that Gene Kelly was actually dancing with Jerry Mouse in a scene from Anchors Aweigh (1945). To my horror, the scene below shows Jerry talking. Yes, Jerry Mouse can talk! Who knew?!
